Hoya obscura
Hoya obscura(M) is not well known but worth knowing. Big 10cm clusters of bright fragrant flowers that have a yellow centre & white edges. Soft gold toned, veined hanging foliage. Ovate leaves blush red in bright light, and the golden star-shaped flowers smell like honey and lemon. Ideal for hanging baskets or climbing on supports.
It brings joy and tranquillity while needing little attention. Grows easily to 1.5 metres + in bright, filtered light. The outcome? You’ll feel satisfied, admired, and gently uplifted each time it blooms. Rarely known secret? Its flowers glow under UV light — attracting night pollinators in the wild.
