Rich green lance shaped leaves and yellow green and purple unusual and attractive flowers from ornamental cones! This is a perennial plant and goes dormant in winter to reemerge in spring, growing off its rhizome. Its the rhizome we eat. Native of Southern Asia and likes warm conditions in part shade or light sun. Sent as plants in 75mm pots.
