….Small Furry Greyish Leaves…

HOYA KEYSII
Hoya Australis ssp. (V**AbcD)
Lovely native Hoya with starshaped fragrant white flowers in large heads.
Its greyish leaves are quite thick and covered in fine hairs smallish and pointed with tiny furry hairs. Can dry out a little between waterings. Like all Hoyas do not over pot and doesn’t mind being rootbound. Remember hoyas are epiphytes growing high up on rainforest trees. Light shade. Moderate climates
…..Priced at $12.90 each
Please Note: Please note there are various sub species of Hoya australis. This one has completely different leaves to the main species ..,.much smaller leaves about 5cm long, greyish colour and covered in fine hairs. We have been calling this one Keysii for about 33 years. We have also added a photo of the foliage. We will check with our friendly Botanist Paul Foster who has done a lot of work on Australus sub species…. in due course
