Platycerium bifurcatum is the wonderful native hanging fern with a shield base from which grow huge antlers like a reindeers. They attach themselves to trees in rainforest areas and will multiply right up to a huge mass to about one metre. Native to the East Coast Of Australia, New Caledonia and New Guinea. Easy to grow in a protected garden in filtered light to morning sun. Liquid fertilise often. Tie onto a tree or onto a board. Thee are about 20cm wide and come loose.
