During autumn it produces large, highly fragrant creamy-white flowers up to 15cm across that open at night. Thriving in bright filtered light and warm climates, it tolerates light frost when kept dry. This fascinating collector’s plant creates an instant conversation piece while bringing a peaceful rainforest atmosphere indoors or onto shaded patios. Little-known feature: the flowers are pollinated naturally by moths and bats during the night.
