HAIRY PSYCHOTRIA
(2.5m**AbcDE) Psychotria loniceroides
A shade loving native shrub considering it is found as a understorey shrub in various rainforest areas on the eastern coast of Australia. Soft pale green foliage with prominent veins covered in soft hairs. Clusters of white to yellowish flowers blooming in autumn. Produces hairy yellow ‘edible’ berries which is best served for birds than humans due to the berries tasting bad when unripe and can irritate the throat. Can be grown indoors in a pot as it prefers the shade. Prefers moist well drained soil. Full to part shade. One per customer.
