A bit taller in its home in the rainforests of Northern NSW where it is a rare small understory tree. It prefers a sheltered position with good drainage and is frost-sensitive in its early stages. Known to take some cold eg Ballarat ! One fascinating fact: its fruit contains ellagic acid, a rare natural compound believed to have anti-aging properties.
