This elegant palm grows tall with a smooth grey trunk and dense crown of arching fronds. Rarely available it is native to New Caledonia, it brings tropical prestige to warm-climate gardens and courtyards. Grows 6–10 metres in full sun to part shade. The outcome? A commanding, peaceful presence that raises the status of your landscape. Best-kept secret? It’s one of the few tall palms suitable for narrow spaces — it grows upward, not outward.
