Linden’s Broughtonia
Broughtonia lindenii …this is dazzling little orchid with starry white flowers touched with lilac on the lip, Broughtonia lindenii is a miniature marvel from the warm, humid forests of the Caribbean. Each bloom is about 3cm across, with delicate pointed petals forming a loose spray on slender arching stems. The narrow leaves grow in tufts, forming a neat, compact plant that rarely exceeds 20cm tall. It thrives in warm climates and is best suited to frost-free areas, or indoors in cooler zones. Surprisingly, it can flower multiple times a year if given enough light and warmth—a rare feat among orchids!
