.….Unusual Round Twining Foliage

HOYA MATHILDE
Hoya cv ‘Mathilde’ (carnosa x serpens). Big soft white flowers with a red corona in large round bunches and strong twining foliage. Round light green leaves. Takes cold and full sun when hardened but not frost. Morning sun preferable. Best under light to moderate shade. Sent in 75mm pots.

HOYA ‘RED BUTTONS’
Hoya pubicalyx ‘Red Buttons’. Each flower has a white fluff bordering its edges contrasting against the dark red of the flower itself giving it an almost black appearance. The corona is a bright burgundy. Lovely large clusters in spring and summer. Very hardy and can dry out a little between waterings. Needs to be under well lit hard shelter in winter in all climates except tropical where shadecloth is OK.

HOYA ‘SILVER SCHILLACI’

We gave this nickname 30 years back after the famous and beautiful grey racehorse Schillaci. What a sight with this silver speedster flying home to win 16 races and over $2 Million in Prizemoney! He also had a reputation for eating the occasional Hoya !1
Silver Schillaci the Hoya was selected for the high proportion of silver streaks in its leaf markings. Lovely large clusters of velvety red wax flowers in spring and summer. Very hardy and can dry out a little between waterings. Needs to be under well lit hard shelter in winter in all climates except tropical where shade cloth is OK. All Hoyas enjoy morning sun. Like all our Hoyas usually sent 30cm long in a 70mm diameter pot.
