Acmena smithii ‘Forest Flame’ (2m**RfEdFABCDe) is a highly sought Lilly Pilly with lovely fire red new growth, white flowers and white-purple fruit. This is a multibranching shrub like form found along rainforest creeks from Victoria to QLD. The fruits are edible raw and make tasty jam. A good bird attracter. Also likes cool climates.
