VISIT A FASCINATING TROPICAL FRUIT PLANTATION WITH US IN SUMATRA, INDONESIA

Here are two 4 minute videos of our recent reconnaissance in Sumatra. This is a commercial plantation run by the local villagers. You’ll laugh at Bobs efforts to find out who owns what!

You will recognise many of the plants in this short video. My guides are Joni and Staf the same locals who led us to the legendary Titan Arum.

The altitude is 800 metres above sea level and the temperture constant around 32 degrees celcius. There is no winter.

This area is western Sumatra about 1 and half hours from the Bukkitingi which is one the worlds most fascinating areas with its volcanoes, crater lakes and plant life…..not to mention it’s friendly people.
